Privacy Policy

This policy covers apps published by Mark David and the markdavid.ie website. Each app has different features, so the information it uses may differ. The App Store privacy details for each app provide the most specific summary of that app's data practices.

If an app includes an additional in-app notice for a particular feature, that notice should be read together with this policy.

Apps may save settings, favourites, projects, imported media, recordings, session history or other content on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch or Apple Vision Pro. Information processed only on your device is not sent to Mark David.

Local information normally remains until you remove it using the app's controls or delete the app, subject to Apple's normal device and backup behaviour.

Depending on what an app does, it may ask for access to Apple services or protected device features such as iCloud, HealthKit, Photos, Camera, Microphone, Location, Contacts or Notifications. Access is requested only when a relevant feature needs it, and you can review or change permissions in Apple's Settings or Health apps.

Some features may send a request to Apple or another service to provide something you asked for, such as weather information, maps or external web content. Apple handles App Store purchases, iCloud, diagnostics and other Apple services under Apple's own privacy terms and your device settings.

Panic Ease works without an account. App settings, favourites, Panic Kit choices, recent tool use and optional before-and-after intensity check-ins are stored locally. They are used to operate the app, preserve your choices and offer local observations; they are not used to diagnose a condition or make a medical conclusion.

If you enable the optional Apple Watch heart-rate feature and grant HealthKit permission, recent samples are processed on Apple Watch during an active session. Only a temporary direction—rising, broadly steady or easing down—and the connection state are shared with your paired iPhone. Raw heart-rate values are not sent to Mark David or Panic Ease servers.

Panic Ease contains no advertising, tracking SDKs or third-party analytics. Panic sessions, check-ins and raw heart-rate samples are not sent off your devices, and the app does not make or collect microphone recordings. Its core features work offline, and you can use Delete All My Data in its Privacy & Data screen.

Apple may provide developers with aggregated App Store, usage, performance and crash information. This is used to understand sales, maintain apps and fix problems. Apple controls this information under its own privacy terms and the analytics choices on your device.

If you contact support by email, the message and anything you choose to include—such as your app name, device model or screenshots—will be used to investigate and answer your request. Support correspondence is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to provide support and maintain an appropriate record of the conversation.

Markdavid.ie does not provide user accounts, advertising or a contact form. Like most websites, its hosting service may process standard technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser type and request time.

Mark David does not sell personal information. Information is shared only when you choose to export or share something, when a service is needed to provide a feature you requested, or where disclosure is required by law. Links to other websites and services are governed by their own privacy policies.

You can manage app permissions in Apple's Settings and Health apps, remove local app information using available in-app controls, and manage iCloud information through your Apple Account and device settings. Deleting an app normally removes its local data, subject to Apple's backup and syncing behaviour.

This policy may be updated when an app, the website or their data practices change. The date at the top of the page will show the latest revision. No security system can offer an absolute guarantee, but apps are designed to use only the information their features need and to rely on Apple's security and permission systems where appropriate.
